Getting a clean capture

• Zoom to 100% with Ctrl + 0 so text renders at native size.
• Dismiss cookie banners and chat widgets first — they are captured too.
• Hide sticky headers using Developer Tools if they repeat in a stitched capture.
• Capture in a normal window rather than a maximised 4K window if the file will be embedded in a document.

Entire page in one image

1. 1Open the page in Chrome on WindowsLet the page finish loading and scroll once to the bottom so lazy-loaded images and sections are rendered.
2. 2Open Developer Tools with F12Or press Ctrl + Shift + I. Developer Tools is built into Chrome — no extension required.
3. 3Open the command menuPress Ctrl + Shift + P inside Developer Tools.
4. 4Type 'screenshot'Choose 'Capture full size screenshot' to capture the entire page, including everything below the fold.
5. 5Find the PNGChrome saves the image to your Windows Downloads folder with the page title as the filename.

Turning the capture into a document

1. 1Take or open your screenshotAny PNG or JPG file on your Windows PC works, including captures from Snipping Tool.
2. 2Open it in Photos and press Ctrl + PEvery Windows print dialog can produce a PDF.
3. 3Choose Microsoft Print to PDFThis virtual printer is installed with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
4. 4Set paper size and orientationLandscape suits wide desktop captures; portrait suits long web pages.
5. 5Click Print and choose a filenameWindows writes a PDF instead of sending anything to a physical printer.
